On August 10, 2024, any doubts about the Cause (for possible beatification and possible canonization) of Luisa Piccarreta were erased. The postulator of her Cause, Monsignor Paolo Rizzi, issued a communication relating that her Cause actually never did stop. In June the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith gave its Nihil Obstat for the continuation of the Cause.
Like the Cause of Sister Faustina Kowalska, there have been a bump or two in Luisa Piccarreta's Cause, but theological and linguistic clarity have won the day. There is still more work to be done, but all this is to be expected in the deepest and richest spirituality ever (always after public revelation of course). Catholic spirituality takes a quantum leap forward in these messages that focus on the Divine Will of God and surrendering to it always. To do God's Will should be the objective of our lives. Jesus told her that Divine Will is "the greatest devotion" ever. St. Padre Pio said that she would be "like a second sun" in the Era of Peace.
