Our Lady of Garabandal and the Present Crisis in the Church

November 15, 2024

I do not do commentary pretty much as a rule, but today I believe it is necessary. I posted these two messages a long time ago, but in light of today’s Church news and today’s Mass reading, I am reposting them below.

Today it was reported that the Vatican has approved of a new Mayan Rite that is somewhat influenced by paganism. Clearly, Francis, Fernandez, and the Vatican in general are way too liberal. Bishop Strickland is also at this time accusing the U.S. Bishops for cooperating unquestioningly with the errors of Francis. And lastly, a terrible exposé has just come out showing that 150 “Catholic” hospitals in the U.S. are performing “pediatric sex-change services,” which is absolutely inexcusable. I do not know how a bishop would not inquire and know about this practice if it is going on in his diocese and put an immediate stop to it.

Providentially, in the First Reading today, there were these verses by the Beloved Disciple:

"[…] For many seducers are gone out into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh: this is a seducer and an antichrist. Look to yourselves, that you lose not the things which you have wrought: but that you may receive a full reward. Whosoever revolteth, and continueth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that continueth in the doctrine, the same hath both the Father and the Son." (2 John 7-9, DRB)

Our Lady of Garabandal warned us of these realities way back in the 1960s. Her messages are probably more relevant today than they were then since the Church has, in a large part, followed the evil “spirit of Vatican II” (Vatican II itself was from God) since the council … and look at the rotten fruit we see from that “spirit of Vatican II.”

Here are Her words.

October 18, 1961

“Many Sacrifices must be made. Much penance must be done. We must pay many visits to the Blessed Sacrament, but first of all we must be very good. If we do not do this, punishment awaits us. Already the cup is filling, and if we do not change we shall be punished.”

[It hurt Her so much to give the following message, She had St. Michael say it for Her.]

June 18, 1965

“Since my message of October 18, 1961 has not been complied with and has not been made much known to the world, I will tell you that this is the last one. Before the chalice was filling now it is overflowing. Many Cardinals, many Bishops, and many Priests are on the path of perdition and they take many souls with them. To the Eucharist, there is given less and less importance. We should avoid the wrath of God on us by our good efforts. If you ask pardon with your sincere soul God will pardon you. It is I, your mother, who through the intercession of St. Michael, wish to say that you amend, that you are already in the last warnings and that I love you much and do not want your condemnation. Ask Us sincerely and we will give to you. You should sacrifice more. Think of the passion of Jesus.”

In closing, I would expect this authentic private revelation will be condemned soon by the Vatican, which has started a war against private revelation the last few years.

However, be not afraid! Christ is the head of His one, holy, Catholic, and apostolic Church: “And he is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he may hold the primacy” (Colossians 1:18). A pope, if he authentic, is merely the visible head of the Church/the representative or “vicar” of Christ. It seems more and more appropriate that Francis renounced this last title. But “the gates of hell shall not prevail against” (Matthew 16:18) the true Church, which will have to go underground – as in China – soon. Significant battles can be lost, but we know that in the end the devil loses the war, for who is like God?
