Francis Is Not in St. Malachy’s List of Popes

Updated: 6 days ago

Like the Book of Revelation, the list of popes revealed to St. Malachy (1094-1148) is somewhat enigmatic. Even in current private revelation, so close to the prophesied events, God does not reveal the future in detail for us. We must all walk in faith and our free will must not be tainted by certain knowledge of future events. If we knew things like dates, etc., it would ruin the point we are here: to walk in faith, not by sight. It would not be in our best interests to know too much.

St. Malachy’s List was revealed to him as private revelation. Popes’ names are written in poetic titles. Some consider it controversial yet it has, in hindsight, been remarkably accurate. We must also consider that he is a canonized saint, and the Church thus gives Her confidence in his holiness. Holy people do not present fiction as fact or lies as the truth. All saints have a healthy scrupulosity. They do not make things up or hope they are right in saying or writing this or that. So we have the testimony of the accuracy of the list and its author – a holy saint – to consider. And finally, we have to consider his calling in life: he was no less than an archbishop in Ireland. He was the first of the Irish to be canonized. (Ireland is known as “the land of saints and scholars.”) As a final testimony to his great holiness, he died in the arms of St. Bernard of Clairvaux, abbot and Doctor of the Church. Numerous miracles have been attributed to St. Malachy, who was canonized a mere 26 years after his death. So one can confidently affirm that he had the gift of prophecy from the Holy Spirit.

I am not an expert on his list, but I find it remarkable and most revealing that Francis does not appear in it. It takes a jump from Pope Benedict to the future and last enumerated pope, “Peter the Roman,” who would have to be “the Angelic Pontiff” as revealed to the mystic Julie-Marie Jahenny and “the Angel of Peace” to the visionary Luz de Maria. As far as who Francis is, it is mysterious. He may be “the false prophet” mentioned repeatedly in the Book of Revelation. Or that may be someone worse than Francis. In any case, Francis is what I would call a false pope. He is not an antipope, since that term refers to when there are two men simultaneously presented as the pope (one being the authentic pope and the other being the “antipope”). The best language to describe him was given to the current messenger Sr. Amapola. Heaven calls Francis “an imposter pope” and a “usurper.”

Since 2013, Francis has shown himself to be an unscrupulous rebel. It is impossible, therefore, that he was chosen in the Perfect Will of God; rather, he is in this position in the Permissive Will of God. God always respects our free will, and sin has consequences. God can never be judged by man. When bad things happen, we do best to look to the innumerable sins of man. God can only do good. He is always perfect and benevolent; He is love and goodness itself.

Let us pray for Francis and the Church. No one is beyond the reach of God’s mercy as long as he or she is alive. As Christ revealed to Sr. Amapola, only He can rectify the grave problems in the Church and the world.

Below is the most current and best source I could find online on St. Malachy’s List. Click below and you will see how it is worthy of great respect:

[However, there is still only one Church founded by Christ, so no matter how bad it gets, we must never leave His Church. As Scripture says, He is the head of the Church. Even true popes are merely His Vicars. Again, under no circumstance can we ever leave His Church. One can jeopardize one's salvation in doing so. The Church is being chastised now; God's Justice as well as His Mercy are infinite. Christ knows everything and He will deal with this situation very soon in His way and in His time. Do not make a potentially fatal mistake in the meantime. Jesus, I trust in You...]
